Tsukiji Tamasushi was founded in Tsukiji in 1924, and this year we celebrate our 100th anniversary.
Since then, we have continued to evolve, meeting the diverse needs of our customers.

Regarding sushi, a food culture that Japan can be proud of to the world, our consistent belief, honed with passion and ingenuity, is "We are serious about the deliciousness of seafood."

This earnest desire leads to improved skills and the power to captivate our customers.
In 2017, we were delighted to realize our long-held dream of opening Tamazushi University,
establishing a foundation for developing talent through a clear educational curriculum.

Mark's secret

The Secret of Tamazushi Co., Ltd.'s
Company Mark
This mark is our company's crest. It is created by overlapping four hiragana "su" characters inside a "tama" (circle). The meaning is "tama" plus four "su" sounds like "tamasushi" (tama-zushi), which expresses the humor and pride of an Edomae sushi restaurant.

Secret of the Face Logo
This smile you see at Tsukiji Tamasushi... This face was designed based on the smile of the third-generation, Takamasa Nakanosato (the chairman), when he was young (around 30 years old). And believe it or not, this face is drawn using the hiragana characters for "Tsukiji Tamasushi"!
